Lani Hitchens is a photographer with a great love for digital art and poetry. Her formal education comes from Yavapai College in Northern Arizona, where she received degrees in photography and graphic design. Her informal education derives from a lifetime of studying the power that "Beauty" has on the human spirit.

“I had heard that there were herds of wild Mustangs roaming near our new house. But the first time I saw them was the day we moved in. They were gentle and fiercely wild all at the same time. Immediately, they captured my heart.

As a western photographer, I find them to be one of my most interesting and intriguing subjects. If you look and listen closely, they will tell the history of the American west.”
